B ARCH admission in Kerala - CEE prospectus summery

Is it necessary to qualify the Kerala Engineering Entrance Exam or qualifying NATA is enough? 

For Architecture (B Arch)  students has to apply online to Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. www.cee.kerala.gov.in
Qualifying NATA is necessary for Govt & Management quota of seats

If you want to get admission in merit list, Class 12 students has to apply online in the same form for Engineering, but give the option for Architecture to Entrance commissioner, Govt of Kerala. Last date to apply online is in February. Those who miss this date can apply for management seats. However, for merit list and management seats, qualifying NATA with80 marks plus is a must. SPARK institute classes for B ARCH/ NATA starts in the month of December and will continue till JULY end.

SPARK offers crash classes (full time) 20 days, 40 days classes and 2 months classes for B ARCH/ NATA. In addition, there are SUNDAY classes for Class 11 & 12 school students.

Architecture course :(a) Minimum academic eligibility for admission to B. Arch.:10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised Board with Mathematics as a subject ofstudy by securing 50% marks in aggregate. 

OR
10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognised by Central/State Governments with 50% aggregatemarks. 

OR
International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50%marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination.

(ii) Candidates who have qualified in the Engineering Entrance Examination should submit their marks online through the Official website of the CEE (www.cee.kerala.gov.in) and forward the true copy of the mark list of final year of the qualifying examination, duly attested by a gazetted officer so as to reach the Office of the CEE on or before31.05.2015.

 NATA Classes on SUNDAYS for High School Students

For the convenience of High School students, aspiring to make a career in B.ARCH, we are conducting full day classes on all Saturdays. Minimum attendance of 20 classes. Join now before march so that before the Board Exams, be prepared for NATA Entrance and join some of the best colleges, well in advance.

Indian school students abroad, can register now. As soon as your Board Exams are over, contact us and get trained for the 30 TO 60 days NATA Classes and appear for the Test.

We wish to warn the parents that there are some fraud agents who offer admission in B Arch colleges in Management quota, with out appearing for any test, and grab your hard earned money.

NATA- Aptitude test for admission to Bachelor of Architecture (B.ARCH) Course

Introduction

·        Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) is an undergraduate academic degree Course of 5 yrs duration

(including practical training)

·        Institutions in India for B.Arch course :

Ø  IITs, (Indian Institute of Technology)

Ø  NITs (National Institute of Technology) & SPAs (School of Planning & Architecture)

Ø  Other Architecture institutions, affiliated to various universities of India

Educational Qualifications :

Ø  IITs : +2 pass with Mathematics /Physics/ Chemistry subjects scoring top 20 percentile in the board Exam

Ø  NITs & SPAs : +2 pass with Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry subjects

Ø  Other institutions : +2 pass with 50%(min) marks with Mathematics as one of the Subject
OR 3 year Diploma with 50%(min) marks

Selection Procedure

Ø  IITs :A score with in the top 1.5 Lakhs in JEE (main) + JEE (Advanced) + Aptitude test for Architecture ( 60% weightage for entrance and 40% on + 2 marks)

Ø  NITs &SPAs : JEE (main) Paper II (Aptitude test for Architecture) ( 60% weightage for entrance and 40% on + 2 marks)

Ø  Other institutions : NATA score + marks of qualifying examination

NATA Entrance Coaching Programme

Entrance Coaching programme for both NATA and JEE cover the syllabus of Creative aptitude part of  exams excluding mathematics.

At the end of the programme, we conduct Mock tests that help students to manage time and get an idea of the kind of questions they can anticipate. We do not offer any online coaching programme. However, for those students who have completed 20 days of class room training at our Aluva centre, we give online tests every weekend or fortnight, until next March. 2) Coaching classes:

Saturday Classes for High School Students- October to March (Minimum 20 days classes).

Monday to Friday full time classes (20 days minimum and upto 30 days depending on the learning ability of the student).

Contact us in advance before registering for NATA Test, or else chances are there that you may not score even the minimum in first appearance and in second attempt even if you do well, NATA calculates the average marks scored, and you may risk the chance to get the minimum Score required for eligibility to get admission in any Architecture institution. Getting minimum score is mandatory for admission.

NATA Classes are conducted SPARK at Aluva centre- Ernakulam.  The classes cover:
